However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may require changes or cancellations to your travel plans. The following cancellation policy applies to all bookings made through SikkimPackages.in for adventure tours, leisure tours, wildlife tours, and other travel services. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.
General Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by the Customer
- Booking Amount is non refundable at any circumstances and minimum booking amount is 50 % of Package cost. In simple terms if you book today and cancel today you will loose your booking amount. So please book only if you are sure to go.
- Please pay 50% of the package cost 60 days before your arrival. This means that the full amount must be paid 2 months in advance. We do not offer an on-arrival payment option.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before the scheduled arrival date: No refund will be provided.
- Cancellation 31 days -60 Days before the scheduled arrival date: A refund of 25% of the total booking amount, provided you pay 100 % of package cost otherwise no refund.
- Cancellation 61 days or more before the scheduled arrival date: A refund of 40% of the total booking amount, provided you pay 100 % of package cost otherwise no refund.
- Cancellation 90 days or more before the scheduled arrival date: A full refund will be provided, minus non-refundable booking amount of 50% of package cost.
No Refund for Certain Circumstances
- No refund will be provided if the cancellation is made 30 days or less before the scheduled arrival date, regardless of the reason for the cancellation. This includes cancellations due to personal reasons, changes in travel plans, or any other circumstances.
Special Circumstances
Unforeseen Events
We recognize that travel plans can be disrupted by unforeseen events such as natural disasters (e.g., landslides, road blockages), political issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will work with our customers to reschedule their travel plans, subject to availability and additional costs. However, please note that no refunds will be issued for cancellations due to these events.
Adventure and Wildlife Tours
Given the nature of adventure and wildlife tours, there are inherent risks and uncertainties. In the event of cancellations due to safety concerns or adverse weather conditions, we will make every effort to reschedule the tour or provide an alternative itinerary. However, no refunds will be provided.
Booking Modifications
Changes to Bookings
- Modifications 30 days or more before the scheduled arrival date: Customers may request changes to their bookings (e.g., date changes, modifications to the itinerary) at least 30 days before the scheduled arrival date. All modifications are subject to availability and additional costs.
- Modifications less than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date: Changes requested less than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date may not be accommodated, and standard cancellation policies will apply.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical expenses, travel delays, and other unforeseen events. SikkimPackages.in is not responsible for any losses or expenses incurred due to travel disruptions.
