- Tsomgo Lake – Baba Mandir:
- Domestic tourists: Permits issued by the Police Check Post.
- Foreign tourists: Permits issued by the Tourism & Civil Aviation Department. Vehicle permits must be obtained from the Police Check Post through a registered travel agency.
- Nathula Pass:
- Domestic tourists: Permits issued by the Tourism Department and vehicle permits by the Police Check Post through a registered travel agency.
West District
- Dzongri Trek:
- Permits issued by TIC Pelling and TIC Gangtok.
- Singalila Trek:
- Permits issued by TIC Pelling after clearance from the Home Department, Forest Department, and Army, through registered travel agencies.
North District
- Yumthang:
- Domestic tourists: Permits issued by the Police Check Post.
- Foreign tourists: Permits issued by the Tourism Department and vehicle permits by the Police Check Post.
- Yumesamdong:

- Jopuno (5935 meters)
- Freys Peak (5830 meters)
- Lama Angden (5868 meters)
- Brum Khangse (5433 meters)
- Permits issued by the Tourism Department after obtaining clearances from the Home Department, Forest, Army, and Police for the following peaks:
- National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary:
- Entry permits issued by the Forest Department at Gangtok.
